The Switchpad™ 2X4 3G/HD-SDI/SDI matrix switcher is fully SMPTE compliant and easily switches all of the current digital formats, even 3G signals. The Switchpad™ can handle different formats on its inputs simultaneously, and you can even mute selected video outputs if desired. All inputs and outputs are fully equalized and the outputs re-clocked.
The Switchpad™ is completely touch-controlled through its intuitive front touch-panel! With no buttons or dip-switches to mess with, you simply touch the Switchpad™ input and output pads to switch the signal. There are additional finger-touch commands to lock out the touch-panel, dim or extinguish the LED indicators, and even mute the sounds.
There's more ways to control Switchpad™ functions than just its intuitive touch-panel. Plug it into your Mac or Windows computer via USB, and with the Switchpad™ Control App, you'll have full remote control of all the functions, as well as individual and global switching memory presets. Want to control the Switchpad™ from an existing device? RS232 control is even available thru the input power connector!
Need a bigger switcher? No problem. The Switchpad™ can be linked with up to 3 more Switchpads™ to create an expanded, even more powerful matrix switcher! All power and control data is shared on the linking cable, so there's no need for additional power or USB cables. Use the Switchpad™ Control App, and with the global memory presets you can control and switch all four Switchpads™ simultaneously.
